Young people aged 14-17 from all over the world attend our efterskole to get an experience they will never forget. We have an international Cambridge class where all subjects are taught in English.
Join our international class
“Efterskole” is a form of boarding school unique to Denmark. Here, students choose to spend a year of their lower secondary school education before continuing to upper secondary education.
A school year is 11 months and starts in early August and ends in late June. About 20% of all Danish teenagers attend an efterskole.
Rejsby Europæiske Efterskole have an international profile and focus on social studies, different languages and cultures, media, science, and psychology. All students participate in three study trips in Europe.
We have students from all over the world. To mention some countries: USA, UK, Germany, France, Ukraine, Malawi, Thailand, Australia and Spain.
The main language at the school is Danish. However, all teachers and students also speaks English. Most of our international students join our international cambridge class and take lessons in Danish as a second language.
Exchange program
Every year we exchange with different schools all over Europe. The theme of the exchanges is “young people meeting young people”. The goal is to widen the students’ perspectives by meeting other Europeans and their culture.
