The International Class

At form level 10 we offer an international study program based on Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). All subjects are taught in English except Danish, Danish as a Second Language, German and French.

CLIL is an approach for learning content through an additional language (foreign or second), thus teaching both the subject and the language. (Wikipedia)

Most of our international students join this study program and take lessons in Danish as a Second Language. The program is an excellent opportunity to get to learn the Danish language and more about Danish culture.

Students joining the international study program participates in all activities and aspects of the daily life at the “efterskole” – the only difference is that most of the subjects are taught in English.

In addition to the official Danish School-Leaving Examinations in Danish, Mathematics and English, we also offer the following international acknowledged examinations:

  • IGCSE English as a Second Language (Cambridge International Examinations)
  • IGCSE Mathematics – International (Cambridge International Examinations)
  • IGCSE Global Perspectives (Cambridge International Examinations)
  • IGCSE Science – Combined (Cambridge International Examinations)
  • Goethe-Zertifikat (Goethe-Institut)
  • DELF (Institut Français)
